This Privacy Policy explains how the Sandžak Outdoor mobile app ("the app", "we") handles your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Who we are

What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a chosen username, used to create and secure your account.
- Location — precise GPS location while you record an activity, including in the background, so we can track your route, distance, speed and elevation. Location is collected only during an active recording or when you open the map.
- Activity content — the routes, statistics, titles, descriptions and photos you create or upload.
- Motion & fitness — device motion data used to improve tracking accuracy and step/effort estimates.
- Health data (optional) — if you grant permission, we read workout data from Apple Health to let you import past activities. We only read what you explicitly allow and we do not write data back to Health.
- Camera & photos (optional) — accessed only when you choose to add a photo to an activity.
How we use your data
- To record, save and display your activities.
- To show routes and places on the map.
- To power social features you opt into — following friends, kudos, comments and leaderboards.
- To operate, secure and improve the app.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Sharing & visibility
Content you choose to share (activities, photos, profile) is visible to other users according to your settings. You control what you publish. We may share data with service providers strictly to run the service (hosting, maps), and where required by law.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit or delete your activities in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing [email protected]. We will action verified requests within a reasonable time.
Permissions you can revoke
Location, Health, Motion, Camera and Photos permissions are optional and can be turned off at any time in your device Settings. Some features will not work without them.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
